Geometric estimates exclude rolling tolerances, coatings and process losses; hollow and rolled-section references include their own section-table basis. Calculated bar weights use unrounded mass. Values are not measured shipment weights. Confirm length, grade, manufacturing route, packing and supply in the offer; the existing image illustrates the product family.
Steel slabs are rectangular semi-finished products used to produce flat steel products.

Standards and applicability
Specify the cast cross-section and cut length, full heat chemistry, deoxidation, surface acceptance, internal soundness and downstream rolling route. Finished EN 10025 mechanical values cannot certify an unrolled billet or slab. For 3SP/5SP requests, provide the complete GOST or other agreed specification and edition; no universal numerical chemistry is assigned from a short commercial name.

Selected percentages by mass and test values are reference requirements within the stated scope, not the actual heat analysis or a complete specification. A dash means no value is declared here, not zero. Compare the offered heat and test results with the applicable specification and inspection document. If EN 10204 type 3.1 is required, agree document availability, heat traceability and test scope before ordering.
Inspection and export enquiry
Send the exact product, size, full grade and standard edition, delivery condition, quantity, test requirements and named destination. Confirm cutting, coating, bundle or coil mass, protection, unloading and the Incoterms delivery point in the quotation. The destination guidance below supports port and inland comparisons; it does not confirm local stock or a fixed price.
Chemistry references and commercial grades
3SP and 5SP · GOST 380-2005 ladle analysis
3SP and 5SP refer here to fully killed Ст3сп and Ст5сп. These chemistry references support billet/slab enquiries; casting quality, residual elements, steelmaking-route exceptions and the downstream product standard remain separate order requirements. Finished rolled-steel mechanical properties do not certify an as-cast billet or slab.

Reference values are not shipment analysis or an inventory promise. Agree the complete specification, sampling basis, test methods and acceptance limits before ordering; confirm actual results on the heat/lot certificate. A dash means no numeric limit is stated in this selected reference, not zero.
Requested minimum manganese: 0.50% and 0.60%
Mn +0.50 and Mn +0.60 mean Mn ≥0.50% and Mn ≥0.60%. The table intersects each buyer minimum with the grade range. They are optional purchase limits, not new standard grade names. St52-3 has a maximum Mn limit in the reference below; a minimum of 0.50% or 0.60% requires separate mill agreement.

St37, St44 and St52 · historical DIN 17100 reference
Ladle-analysis reference for St37-2, St44-2 and St52-3 at t ≤16 mm only. Bare St37/St44/St52 names need a suffix, edition and delivery condition. Other thicknesses and product analysis have different rules. These legacy grades are not automatically equivalent to EN grades or interchangeable with CK45/CK60. For semi-finished feedstock, agree chemistry and downstream qualification separately.

Steel slab Technical and buying guide
Steel slabs for flat-product rolling. Compare casting dimensions, chemistry and surface acceptance before requesting a quotation.
Specification and dimensions
Specify cast thickness × width × cut length, heat chemistry and the downstream rolling route. Examples use 200 or 250 mm thickness, 1000 to 2000 mm width and a 6000 mm reference length; confirm the casting mill's actual limits.
Grades and applicable standards
Agree the slab chemistry, residual-element limits, casting quality, heat identification and acceptance specification. The intended finished-product grade is a rolling target; EN 10025-2 for finished structural steel must not automatically be treated as a slab certification standard.
Applications and project requirements
Feedstock for hot-strip mills and plate rolling. Match slab dimensions, chemistry, surface condition and internal quality to the mill reheating, rolling and final-product requirements.
Agree heat or batch identification, chemical analysis, applicable tests and dimensional checks before ordering. Specify inspection documents, acceptance criteria and any independent inspection requirements.
Sizes, weights and quotation guidance
Dimensions are examples for preparing an enquiry, not a declared stock range. Calculated weights are theoretical; mill limits, rolling tolerances and the agreed weighing basis govern the order.
