Bar weights use the section reference where shown; otherwise they use the unrounded geometric mass. Values are estimates, not measured shipment weights. Lengths and grades require offer confirmation. Confirm dimensional-standard applicability for the requested section and manufacturing route. The existing image illustrates the product category.

Equal-leg angle 75 × 75 × 6 mm: each leg is 75 mm (7.5 cm) wide and the nominal leg thickness is 6 mm. Enquiry lengths: 6 m and 12 m, subject to supply confirmation. Reference mass: approximately 6.85 kg/m; calculated bar weights are 41.1 kg for 6 m and 82.2 kg for 12 m. Actual weight varies with rolling tolerances; confirm the supplier’s section table and weighing basis. 75 × 75 × 6 mm

Equal Angle 75 × 75 × 6 mm: Dimensions and Weight Basis

The table shows size, geometric weight per metre, geometric weight per 12 m bar and guide/enquiry actions. Weights use nominal dimensions and density 7850 kg/m³, excluding radii and rolling tolerances. They are planning estimates, not certified shipment weights or stock confirmations.

Dimensions, Material Grade and Legacy Designations

EN 10056-1 addresses section dimensions and EN 10056-2 tolerances; EN 10025-2 addresses structural steel material requirements. Agree whether the requested size and manufacturing route fall within the chosen standard, especially for thin 2.5/3.5 mm enquiries. S235JR, S275JR, S355JR and S355J2 are distinct grade references, not confirmed stock. ST37, ST52 and 5SP need their complete specification, suffix, edition and acceptance requirements; no automatic EN equivalence or shared numerical chemistry is assigned.

Structural Grade Mechanical References

The following published section-grade references use EN 10025-2:2019. Yield values apply to nominal thickness t ≤ 16 mm; the displayed tensile and elongation values are restricted here to 3 ≤ t ≤ 15 mm. Do not apply them to the 2.5 mm catalogue entries without checking their applicable thickness range. Elongation uses L0 = 5.65√S0; confirm sampling, orientation and acceptance rules. The JR impact reference is 27 J at +20°C, while J2 is 27 J at −20°C. Impact testing, specimen size and applicability to thin sections must be agreed under the actual standard and order; the table does not certify a shipment or structural design.

Chemical Composition and CEV References

Selected ladle-analysis maxima below come from one published section-grade table referencing EN 10025-2:2019: carbon for t ≤ 16 mm and CEV for t ≤ 30 mm. Values are percentages by mass, not actual heat analysis, a complete normative specification or confirmed EMRA material. A dash for silicon means the reference sets no displayed general limit; it is not zero. Purchase requirements, product-analysis tolerances and the standard edition must be checked separately. For galvanizing category B, the reference requires separately agreed Si 0.14–0.25% and P ≤ 0.035%; do not assume galvanizing suitability from grade alone.

Compare the actual heat analysis and agreed test results with the mill inspection document. If EN 10204 type 3.1 is required, confirm document availability, heat traceability and test scope before ordering. CEV = C + Mn/6 + (Cr + Mo + V)/5 + (Ni + Cu)/15; weldability still requires the appropriate procedure and project acceptance.

Packing, Processing and Export Enquiries

Request bundle mass, strapping, lifting points, dunnage and corrosion protection for the actual shipment. Cutting, drilling, primer or hot-dip galvanizing must be specified and confirmed rather than assumed available. Include quantity, length, grade, dimensional acceptance, inspection documents and a named city or port. FOB names a shipment port; CFR/CIF name a destination port and DAP a destination place under Incoterms 2020. The regional sections retain Poti/Tbilisi, Jebel Ali/Dubai, Ambarlı/Istanbul, Shuwaikh/Shuaiba, Sohar/Muscat and Hamad Port/Doha; routing and unloading are subject to confirmation. Grade, size, processing, quantity, testing, packing and freight affect the quotation; no fixed unit price or universal bundle weight is promised.

Chemistry references and commercial grades

St37, St44 and St52 · historical DIN 17100 reference

Ladle-analysis reference for St37-2, St44-2 and St52-3 at t ≤16 mm only. Bare St37/St44/St52 names need a suffix, edition and delivery condition. Other thicknesses and product analysis have different rules. These legacy grades are not automatically equivalent to EN grades or interchangeable with CK45/CK60. For semi-finished feedstock, agree chemistry and downstream qualification separately.

Reference values are not shipment analysis or an inventory promise. Agree the complete specification, sampling basis, test methods and acceptance limits before ordering; confirm actual results on the heat/lot certificate. A dash means no numeric limit is stated in this selected reference, not zero.

Size specifications: Equal angles 75 × 75 × 6 mm

Equal-leg angle 75 × 75 × 6 mm: each leg is 75 mm (7.5 cm) wide and the nominal leg thickness is 6 mm. Enquiry lengths: 6 m and 12 m, subject to supply confirmation. Reference mass: approximately 6.85 kg/m; calculated bar weights are 41.1 kg for 6 m and 82.2 kg for 12 m. Actual weight varies with rolling tolerances; confirm the supplier’s section table and weighing basis. 75 × 75 × 6 mm

Choosing this specification

For 75 × 75 × 6 mm, both leg dimensions and thickness must match the connection drawing. Check hole position, edge distances and root geometry against the specified section table; a larger leg does not alone establish connection capacity. At nominal geometry and 7850 kg/m³ steel density, the reference is 6.782 kg per metre. This calculation excludes tolerances, coatings, corner radii and process losses; it is not certified shipping weight or a load rating. Compared with 80 × 80 × 6 mm, the nominal geometric reference is 6.5% lower on the same basis. This comparison supports quantity planning; it does not establish interchangeability.
