Geometric estimates exclude rolling tolerances, coatings and process losses; hollow and rolled-section references include their own section-table basis. Calculated bar weights use unrounded mass. Values are not measured shipment weights. Confirm length, grade, manufacturing route, packing and supply in the offer; the existing image illustrates the product family.
For nominal diameter 60 mm, the calculated mass is approximately 22.195 kg/m using a steel density of 7850 kg/m³. Reference weights are 133.17 kg for 6 m and 266.34 kg for 12 m. These are geometry-based estimates, not certified delivery weights; agree the actual length, tolerances and weighing basis.

Standards and applicability
EN 10060 covers hot-rolled round-bar dimensions and tolerances, not grade properties. Keep C45 and C45E distinct and confirm the complete CK45/CK60 legacy designation. Chemistry rows have separate reference bases: C45E to EN ISO 683-1, C60E to an explicitly dated EN 10083-2:2006 reference and 70Cr2 to a published producer rod specification. The C45E mechanical examples depend on +N or +QT and heat-treatment diameter dHT, which is not automatically the ordered stock diameter. They do not apply to C60E or 70Cr2. No hardness, strength or grade availability is inferred from nominal diameter.

Selected percentages by mass and test values are reference requirements within the stated scope, not the actual heat analysis or a complete specification. A dash means no value is declared here, not zero. Compare the offered heat and test results with the applicable specification and inspection document. If EN 10204 type 3.1 is required, agree document availability, heat traceability and test scope before ordering.
CK45
CK45 is a legacy designation associated with C45E, material number 1.1191. It is used for shafts, pins and mechanical components after appropriate material selection. Keep C45 (1.0503) distinct from C45E; the complete specification, residual-element limits and heat-treatment condition govern acceptance. EN 10060 controls hot-rolled round-bar dimensions, while EN ISO 683-1 concerns the selected non-alloy heat-treatment steel.
CK60
CK60 is a legacy designation associated with C60E, 1.1221. Its higher carbon range supports hardness and wear-oriented engineering applications after suitable processing. The displayed chemistry explicitly uses an EN 10083-2:2006 reference; agree the current governing specification separately. Do not substitute C60, C60E or C60S by name alone, or infer mechanical properties from carbon content.
70Cr2
70Cr2 is a chromium-bearing high-carbon enquiry grade used for selected wear-resistant parts and grinding-media feedstock. The displayed chemistry is a published producer-specific rod specification, not a universal current EN limit or evidence of EMRA stock. Confirm material number, complete grade specification, manufacturing route, hardenability, cleanliness, heat treatment and hardness acceptance. Do not apply C45E proof/tensile values to 70Cr2.

Ladle-analysis reference for St37-2, St44-2 and St52-3 at t ≤16 mm only. Bare St37/St44/St52 names need a suffix, edition and delivery condition. Other thicknesses and product analysis have different rules. These legacy grades are not automatically equivalent to EN grades or interchangeable with CK45/CK60. For semi-finished feedstock, agree chemistry and downstream qualification separately.

Size specifications: Hot-rolled steel round bar 60 mm
For nominal diameter 60 mm, the calculated mass is approximately 22.195 kg/m using a steel density of 7850 kg/m³. Reference weights are 133.17 kg for 6 m and 266.34 kg for 12 m. These are geometry-based estimates, not certified delivery weights; agree the actual length, tolerances and weighing basis.
Choosing this specification
Check the required clearances and cutting or forming route for 60 mm. A nominal diameter does not establish strength, weldability or suitability for machining; use the specified grade and certificate. At nominal geometry and 7850 kg/m³ steel density, the reference is 22.195 kg per metre. This calculation excludes tolerances, coatings, corner radii and process losses; it is not certified shipping weight or a load rating. Compared with 50 mm, the nominal geometric reference is 44.0% higher on the same basis. This comparison supports quantity planning; it does not establish interchangeability.
